About the event

Women in history were often sidelined, forgotten, hidden. So how do we tell their stories with accuracy, bringing them to life in an engaging way for readers today?  Join novelists and PhD students, Molly Aitken, author of (the very awesome) Bright I Burn, Sophie Parkes, author of Out of Human Sight and Professor of Social and Cultural History, Alison Twells, who writes on ordinary lives in history, for a discussion about how we can shine a light on the stories of women of the past.
